Apologies for posting here, but previous posts to SKY forum have proved fruitless : any technical problems draw a blank.

When AV2 channel on Hitachi 42pd7500 selected, and SKY+ (SKY+ 160 box) is in standby, I get dreadful buzzing/humming from Hitachi speakers; previous Pace receiver fine in standby mode. Thomson box has HD chattering regularly even when not recording - ergo use of standby.

Using RF passthru of Thomson box causing major inteference to regular analogue
TV signal, which is a pain as I am trying to feed 2nd TV with SKY. Even bypassing SKY box, Thomson still causing interference. Again no problems with Pace 430N receiver.

    Any clues, guys?

    Screen: Hitachi 42pd7500
    DVD : Panasonic DVDS97 HDMI/DVI (Supra)
    SAT : SKY+ 160 (OFC SCART - RGB)
    VCR: JVC SVHS (OFC SCART)

Is the 2nd RF power active? If it is and you don't need it to be, perhaps that's the source of the interference??
