Hi all.

Need loads of advice and help build wise I am a carpenter so bulkheads boarding sheeting ect no dramas

I can pull wires down the back of the crawl spaces and install speakers ect myself

I just need advice on :

Screen (static screen)
And package (receiver speakers amp ect

Going to be used solely for ps4 Amazon tv (kodi) blue ray 3D

I have my projector optoma HD141x HD3D

Room length 7m800
Height 2m350
Front wall where screen is going 2m870 wide
Where it starts to taper in is 1m 300 from the floor
And width at top is 800mm

My budget for amp receiver speakers is £500/£600
Screen not sure as I don't know best one,or what I should be looking for but budget wise prob £200 if possible?

Pretty bog standard budget
But have to start somewhere!!!

Ok went to richer sounds Belfast been advised to go for:

Sapphire sfsc171 fixed screen £199
Pioneer AVRX 930
And onko ht588das speaker package £749 all in

Anyone any thoughts as this means very little to me? [emoji85][emoji85][emoji85]
 
Ah, so your a carpenter then. Save yourself some money and build your own screen for a few £££. I might even have some material I could give you. Where abouts are you based?
 
Do you do homers by the way? I need some work done in my movie room. We could help each other out if we are reasonably close :) (I'm in Antrim)

I've spare screen material and I'm pretty sure I've got some black velvet for the borders too.

Would be no issues with building, where did you source your material?

I want to build my own screen now soup dragon, could I buy the remaining material from yourself? Or where did you order it from if your keeping it?
It means I can custom fit it due to the shape of the wall
