Some one selling the 5Ds for £500 each so i email him to see what he had to say about it sound dodgy to me.

    >Hello,
    >
    >I am located in London, Uk and the item will be shipped from here..This will not be a problem because we will deal through shipping company and we will be both protected..
    >I shipp you the item first. The shipping company inspect the item to see if it is stolen, new or used because the package is insured and e-mail you tracking number and payment instruction to one of theire agents. After this you receive the item and inspect it for 7 days.If you will keep it you will tell the company to give me the money. If you will not keep it you will send it back with the same company and the costs are covered by me...
    >If you agree send me your full name and adress like this:

Don't really know why you're asking. I would't care if it was kosher, there's no way I'd do business like this.

Do you really think it could be bonafide?

Scam. Depending on your patience, either:

    1) Say you are in London tomorrow and you'll pick up with cash, can he let you know where to meet.
    2) Respond back with eagerness but give a false name & address, let us know what goes on and then we can all get involved and spam the guy.

Why would someone possibly sell a 5D for £500.

I can't believe people fall for this.

Of course it's a scam. Who in this country says they are located in 'London, UK' ???

Just look at the spelling and grammer. My guess would be that the guy is probably from the the African silicon valley. Or Nigeria to me and you!

    So was THIS

It seems to me that Gumtree is the online equivalent of Loot: great for bargains but also attractive to conmen

I would be disappointed if the smell of something rotten isn't immediately apparent:mad:

The apparent poor spelling and grammar I'm told are actually a ploy to bait the unwary ( how difficult is it to spell "ship"?) .. some of these Guys get more sophisticated once you get hooked:lesson:
