Just browsing DVD Soon to pad out my next order and came across This Island Earth. Ooo goody me thought.

    Doh! it says discontinued!

So is it available from anywhere (and how much) or is a new version due out?

play donesn't come up anything. DVDpricecheck lists DVD Import (canada) and Digital Eyes (US) as stockists but I've never used em

The disc's been deleted for a long time, so if you can find anywhere that has it in stock you'd be best off grabbing it while you can if you want it.

Another search engine to try would be www.dvdpricesearch.com as they have a few suppliers that don't feature in the dvdpricecheck.co.uk list IIRC.

I'd imagine there'll be a reissue at some point but I'm not holding my breath

Good film but here is some advice

    Read the book

Raymond F Jones is quite readable - usually found in second hand book shops and remainder stores

    Am I mad

    over 200 DVDs
    around 300 SF Novels
around 100 various transport books (cars, bikes, planes, trains)
    about 300 Beta tapes:eek:
(about 10 Vhs - my wife rented a deck before we married, I was Vhs free until my dad bought a new one and I got his old one)

Love books I just got a pile of them from Amazon today. I see the price for this book is about £12 what’s the reason for such a high price?

Martin can I recommend you Midnight at the Well Of Souls by Jack L Chalker. Amazon have just got it back in stock after being unavailable for 2 years.

Remember that just the name slipped by me. Did they not also use it to project a ray from each corner?
