I've had a SONY 120 D8 camcorder for a year now,but I've not long noticed Panasonics new range of DV camcorders and they've got the features I'm looking for, especially the NVGX7.Great design, more compact than the average DV,colour viewfinder,DV in/out,analogue input, with a photo resolution of 1280 x 960 on an SD memory card.
When I took my film into Jessops,I held one similar. They're well small. It'd fit in my pocket nicely.
Only 10x optical zoom,is this ok?
I really want one now, especially after checking out the feature count.
    £999 @ Jessops,£771 @ Empire.
Has anyone seen the even smaller Micro MV format? The tapes are 70% smaller than DV.

I've got a few questions for you lot about the feature list.

    What's a Colour Nightview?

How long do the batteries last on these top end Panasonic camcorders?

How darker conditions will it film in?

    Thanks in advance.
