New movie from the director of Dead Mans Shoes about his experiences growing up during the 80's.

Looking like a pretty powerful skinhead based movie & one movie I am very much looking forward to.

Due for release on 27th April.

Watched this last night and thought it was excellent. In particular, the child Sean (Thomas Turgoose) is very believable and easy to feel sympathy for, unlike so many irritating young actors. The introduction of Combo (Steven Graham) halfway through tangibly changes the whole direction of the film, and it's fantastic to watch all the characters trying to deal with his presence in their own ways. Great performances, would definitely recommend it if you can catch it on FilmFour - it seems to be showing pretty regularly at the moment.

Spoiler:
Was poignant to see that the film was dedicated to a Sharon Turgoose - I imagine she must be a relative of Thomas Turgoose?

Agree.:smashin:

Although the kid was a bit too irritating, but that's what the film was about. Very realistic.

I found the ending quite unrealistic in all honesty. Up to then I thought it was okay.
