    Hello People,

I am thinking of upgradeing from my freeview box to Sky+, but I would like some information like I heard someone mention u can get different HD specs for these.

Also at the moment my telephone calls are routed through another telephone company, however I still pay line rental to BT. Is this Ok?

    Cheers, Inchshort

Sky are about to bring out a new Sky+ box with a 160GB hard drive. Prices rumoured to be £399. A bit on the steep side, although being a new subscriber they may do a deal on this.

IMHO it is far better to get the standard Sky+ box with the 40GB hard drive (about 20hrs of recording) wait for a year until the warranty is up and then go get yourself a bigger hard drive. 120GB seems to be proven...yours for about £50. Especially as Sky were doing £99 for new customers.

Not sure about the phone. I would think it is OK as it is still a BT line.

Thanks Parklife, I think I will go for it now rather than wait, 20 hours of recording will do for me!
