I built a htpc with a mind to replacing multiple boxes under the TV.
spec:
Asus M3N78-VM, AMD 5050e, Scythe SHURIKEN, Sapphire HD5450, 2GB ram, 500GB drive, LiteOn Blu-Ray reader, Hauppauge WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2, Antec 2480 case, Windows 7 Professional x86.
However, it is mainly used for streaming video from the server using xbmc and windows media centre.
Having sky+ HD for TV and a PS3 for blu-ray, most of the functionality of the htpc is being wasted.
I already have a R3600 in another room running xbmc and am happy with it.
So I am thinking of selling the htpc and picking up one of the new R3700.
Am i making a mistake?
