Thinking of getting 2nd Sky+ Box.

Having trouble working out how to connect it to a Panasonic plasma 4 without using SVID via Yami A5. Would rather go RGB ‘MAYBE’ using the pass through on Sky+ box but not sure how the switching would between both Sky+ boxes.

Current mirror sub is a Sony Sky box connected Svid via Yami A5.

Current Sky + is connected RGB through JSTech RGB-VGA converter
DVD Pioneer 525 (getting old) through JSTech RGB-VGA converter.
SVHS connected Svid via Yami A5

    help?

The RGB bypass on the existing sky+ would just pass whatever signal it is given .. ie either the 'live' feed (but why would you need that when you already have a live feed on the existing sky+) or the 'recorded' feed which presumably is the reason you want to get a second box ?

see you have 2 Sky+ howw do you watch yours.

if some in the house want to watch Sky+ A upstairs and I want Sky+ B on the plasma or the other way round it wont work with passthrough. correct?

I would need to have a Switch at the plasma end. or use the Svid

    agree?
