I have been using a Harmony 525 for about 18 months and it does a pretty good job overall. The only niggles I have is that we tend to use our sky box to change channels as we find the numbers on the 525 not that easy to select. Another issue is the up/down/left/right and especially the ok/select button is awkward to use - eg sometimes it takes quite a few presses to select an option on a dvd using the middle select button as it isnt very responsive.

Soooooooo......... which of the more expensive options have (I guess I would call ) more responsive buttons???????

If you're happy with the Harmony concept, the only answer is the One. However, it lacks hard colour buttons, but they can be replicated as screen soft buttons or mapped to unused hard buttons.

The buttons on the 525 are a big let down - mine do the same.
My 885 also has button problems.

Hopefully the One is better, but only time will tell. The 1000 has less buttons, so should last a bit longer.

BTW, have you checked to see if your 525 is still under warranty? AFAIK, Harmony remotes come with a 2-year warranty.
