As the title says, but would like some opinions first, esp from people who own one.
What are peoples opinion? I seem to remember someone said the response time was a bit slow(hence poss smearing?). It will be driven from HTPC so the DVI connection appeals, as does the RS-232 for control which I can link into the automation system I run.
The Philips unit looks good, but doesnt appear to have the 232 control facility...

This will be for general TV duty as I want to get a PJ for the big screen stuff.

    Any opinions gratefully recieved:)

I have the LG RZ30LZ13 ,It's quite a good set for what I paid for it £1399 inc delivery. It has a few draw backs, but I can live with them.

You do get light smearing if watching fast moving stuff on sky via rgb due to the slow response time.

Lack of component inputs is a real downer.

But on the other hand the dvi will take a prog scan signal.

I've also had my HTPC hooked upto it via vga and it looked brilliant , I watched fast and the furious and Panic room without any probs what so ever.

If you have digital tv I suggest getting a digital tv card for your HTPC and watching through your pc rather than a topset box.

cheers for the reply, I'll need to find a decent shop that can (properly) show this set. Or might go for one of the sharp range now...
