    Hi everyone,

aftermuch consolidation with my wife I have to sell my first CRT, it' a NEC 6PG+. I also have a Quality 120v/240v Stepup/stepdown Transformer.

So I'm asking for any humble thought and insigts as to what info and possible imaged needed for a thrilling sale, i.e. what kind of information would you as a buyer want/need.

    cheers
    F

What I would want to know when buying a CRT PJ.
    1. What condition are the tubes in, is there any obvious burns or wear.
    2. What condition are the internals?
    3. Is the power supply in good condition, has there been any problems with the power module.
    4. What size of screen have you been using and in what ratio and for how long?
    5. Run time.
    6. Condition of case.
    7. was it professioanlly installed, serviced?

Loads more, but these are the main ones i could think off at 7am in the morning.

    Thanks,
I've been doing some reading and looking at other peoples ads and so "wear/burn", "runtime", "hours", "screen size", I have understood the importance of. But I don't know how to judge the conditions of the internals or power supply, are there obvious things to look for?

    thanks again,
    F

Take the colour corrected lenses off and put them on your 701.

A 6PG should be a very worthy first machine for sombody prepared to spend the time going through the unconvertional NEC menu. but the results are well worth it.
