Has anyone got this , cant find it any where on any region.
Great film, don't think a decent version has been released anywhere yet

Cheers again Squirrel , widescreen letter box meens it might not be anamorphic doesnt it?
I've reviewed this check it out for yourself HERE
and no, the R1 verison is not anamorphic but why not do what I did and get the R2 version which IS??
Yup, NOT anamorphic
However, according to Rewind, the R2 is anamorphic
Now why didn't I search for R2 for you in the first place
Only £9.99 at Play (although note that Play don't mention if it is or isn't... usually a bad sign)
Tricky one this isn't it
Where did you get the region 2 from? Ive been looking everywhere.
Oops, hope you haven't ordered at Play yet using the link I posted.
It's £8.99 at www.splashdvd.com
Cheers guys , I looked on Play as well , not in 5.1 but I guess you cant have everything. Only £9.99 so thats cool.
Too late to cancel at Play?
Can always just post it back to them after it's arrived - just make sure you don't open it.
Yep too late , I like using play though ,always seem reliable , how did you find it on there ? when I did a search nothing came up.
i picked up the R2 from amazon
about 8 months ago i think they had it on sale for 7.99
I bet you get your copy from Play sooner than I get mine from Splash. Splash are pretty cool but not the fastest despatcher in the world.
I had a £2 voucher that they sent me though, but I had to spend £15 to use it so I picked up Denver and Running Man, which is ironic, 'cause I sent Running Man back to Play last year for being non-anamorphic - non-anamorphic PAL is growing on me though as being not so bad when the price is right
I just searched for "denver when" - seemed to do the trick. Didn't come up on R1 though, so maybe you searched under a R1 Title rather than R2
I tried under both , even tried under films by Andy Garcia!
Partial searches in future then. They work better
Just remember people: I am GODZILLA, and YOU are Japan!!!!!
I haven't seen the film before Lex, so I presume that's a quote from it? I just ordered it 'cause you all seem to think it's good and the synopsis sounded cool
It is better then good, it is Grrreat! Stylish, funny, touching, and it has Gabrielle Anwar in it! What more could you possibly want?!
You said that about FOTR, so let's hope I'm not disappointed this time round
FOTR is better than Grrrrreat! It is masterful! And it has Liv Tyler in it, what more could you want?!
Liv Tyler is super fit
Speaking of Gabrielle Anwar, I always found it odd that she was listed so high up in the end credits of Scent of a Woman and also pictured in the in-case leaflet and in the advertising. I mean, she was hardly in the damn movie!
Can you believe I have seen it before?
I'm so grateful that installer posted about this. I saw the movie years ago on TV (obviously must've been censored somewhat, language wise at least) and loved it then. However, I had missed about the first 5 or 10 mins, didn't have a TV guide and didn't have teletext, so I had no idea what it was called. Since then I had forgotten all about it!
As soon as I started watching it, I started to think I had seen it before. Then the first scene with Christopher Walken (which has utterly superb dialogue) sparked some serious Deja Vu and by the time we'd be introduced to all the characters, particularly Critical Bill, it all came flooding back to me.
Fantastic movie, made even better by Christopher Walken! He made me howl with laughter all over again with the stuff he came out with
So glad I finally own this!!!
"Things to do in Dever when your dead"
I thought this was in the wrong thread at first, I'm sure there's a porno titled similarly
This is a top film, if rather grim. And literal in the extreme - I'm gonna bust a cap in your ass
I like the fact that it demonstrates how people can be made to fear someone to such an extent that their defensive potential goes to hell, that is unless you're bats.
If I had one complaint, it was that it wasn't visually gory or violent enough
This intelligent film plays on the factors which make those in it and people viewing fear violence at the psychological level and not merely a splatter-fest. But then there's the guy with his bleeding capped ass, the street fight and several shootings.
Just no pleasing some
