    From The Dark Project

Break from Cragscleft Prison well think the surprise you get there.

THE HAUNTED CATHEDRAL not the time you enter but first time your outside but have to pass all the zombies and the hunts in the house on the hard mode.

RETURN TO THE CATHEDRAL this is like a nightmare and even opening doors you never know whats at the other side with all the zombies and haunts making nosies all over. The best level of all the games for me.
    ESCAPE just enjoyed it.
INTO THE MAW OF CHAOS on a role now the ice field slide and the water spout. and off to the conclusion.

    Thief 2 The Metal Age

AMBUSH a bit different here and you get to go home.
TRAIL OF BLOOD them trees were nearly as bad as the zombies
PRECIOUS CARGO great get to sneak round a sub base etc

    Thief 3 The Deadly Shadows.
I did not think this had the same feel as the others but the GAMALL'S LAIR had me running from them Golems

You have a good memory Garrett (unless you played them again more recently :)). One stand out moment for me from what I remember, was being chased by a solitary zombie(?) inside a boiler room or basement of some knd. The sheer feeling of helplessness with only my legs to save me, made my neck hairs stand on end. Not sure which one that was from though.

I have a feeling the 'reboot' will be mostly style over substance, and easily forgotten.

Yes me neither. Hoping the new one gets good reports from the gamers here before I buy.

God almighty, I can hardly even remember the games never mind the particular missions barring a few from Thief 3. I loved the Cradle which was near the end of T3 as it had everything and was huge but I enjoyed the whole game tbh. All the missions bar the one where you're creeping around on beams above the shaman camp were Fantastic. I thought that T3 with it's open world had a lot of diversity.

I hated the Zombie crypts in the first or second game. I just found those missions completely at odds with the game. I do remember the Cathedral mission and was there one in a clock tower as that always stuck with me..?

Don't really remember much of the first as I only played through it the once. Loved all of the second one and most of the third. The only thing that I wasn't too keen on in the third was all the back and forth between areas and going over the same ground over and over. I think most people remember The Cradle level but that freaked me out something silly. I was hearing creaks and bangs for ages after that!!

I played the first one in the 3 modes second 2 times and the last only once.
I hope 4 has different modes and is good I can play a number of times and find different things each time.

As to memory I can still remember a map going back to Captive.

20 Years on now from the first game I saw they were doing a 6 page article on the game in PC Gamer yesterday which takes me back I remeber playing the game The Hunted Cathedral on Gold edition and the doorbell ringing and having to pause the game to getting my Giant Man bust.
I really must see if there an addon to upgrade the graphics and see even if I can still play the game, I know I loaded Dungeon Keeper up within the last two years and would not work on my more uptodate computer.

The Bust I still have on the shelf in front of me with the other Avengers.
