Thermal Paste & Cleaner

Hi everyone,

I am in the process of rehousing some of the components from my current rig into a new case, the processor and cooler being two of them, and am in need of some new thermal paste and some cleaning solution. I was just wondering if anyone could advise which products would be best to use?

For thermal paste, I am leaning towards Arctic MX-4?

Not too sure about the cleaning solution. Would the Arctic Silver ArctiClean Thermal Remover and Purifier kit be a good choice?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Are you referring to the thermal paste or the cleaning solution kit, Trollslayer?

The cleaning kit, it take a little elbow grease but cleans well.
I have used Arctic Silver 5 happily for a long time, no experience with the ceramic compounds.

I've always used Akasa TIMclean and a yellow duster for getting TIM off.

As for TIM, I stocked up on the now end-of-life Zalman TIM that comes in a little bottle like nail polish with a brush in it as it as a breeze to apply.
