Got to be the first to see the NEW Themescene H30A, not only is it quieter, but as you can see the new 16:9 chip and contrast ratio make this a little cracker.

Oh forgot to say, we picked a very dark part of Harry Potter, but you can still see the difference, oh and appologise for the slight movement on the Toy Story H30 pic

Interesting, I guess this is the new DarkChip HD2 creating a better contrast ratio. Do the Optoma range incorporate the Faroudja chip as do the Infocus? I will be seeing the H57 in a couple of days, I am a little concerned that the Optoma range only have a 4x speed colour wheel compared to the 5x speed on the Infocus range which could lead to more rainbows. There are some fantastic deals out there for the Optoma range which I guess must be coming from the manufacturers.

How does the digital lens shift work? Positioning in my flat is quite tricky, but vertical lens shift would help a lot.

this is upsetting, I paid £1k for my H30 in November...still love it though, the picture is great, those photos just don't seem to do it justice.

I phoned Audio Vision yesterday asking them to change my order from H30 to H30A.
Don't know how long I have to wait for it tough.

Must admit the difference between those two PJs is like night and day. While it won't stop you enjoying the H30 if those pictures are to be believed then the H30a offers vast improvements. Not sure if that means the H30 is not so good or that the H30a is very good. Still want to know whether a 4x speed colour wheel means more rainbows.
