I had to stop using Theatre Mode on my Radeon 9200 card as the playback brightness on the TV was too high.
I tried using the overlay controls but the only affect the desktop and not the TV, even when I make the TV the primary display.
This affects all files types and players.

Now, I have to switch on the keyboard (Alt + F5) to actually change the display over from LCD to TV (which of course is a pain, as you can't read the filenames in Explorer then on the TV!).

LCD connected by VGA, TV by S-video out from Radeon card.

It must be smthg with the full screen TheaterMode display output generation, as when I simply switch over from LCD to TV (Alt + F5) it all looks fine.
