I have post on the TT forum but can anyone offer any suggestions.
I have upgraded from an ati 9000 to a 9600; when playing Planet of the apes, TT shuts down consistently, just after the 2nd chapter within a few seconds every time; now it also does this with the 9000; oddly enough i can use my old 7000 with no issues whats so ever. I am using either the 3.9 or 3.10 drivers with no difference.
I played Star Trek Nemisis wich had played perfectly on my 9000 a few weeks ago but it locked up a couple of times with the 9600; again seemingly around chapter changes. Both these discs are region 1 and this is the first time I have had any problems. region 2 discs seem to play ok. I tried a fresh install with no difference.
    AMD 1Mhz, Abit KT7E, 256Mb, M-Audio 2496, XP.
    Anyone?

    Hi.

Are you using any background software like dvd reigon free or anydvd,to unlock the reigon coding.

I had problems using background reigon killers with theatretek.

    Just a thought.:)
