I now have TT set to my liking. I initially had problems with video controls and syncing, that is now all gone due to reinstallation of everything, must have had something lurking in the background.
Image is excellent and the sound is superb.
Using a pronto I have stable and consistant results. It's the first time I have been able to simply turn on and insert a DVD and not touch a keyboard at all. Feels a little strange.
The Aspect Ratio control is great, and being able to set movie start position makes future viewing painless.
I now also use DVD Killer instead of DVD Genie I hadn't realised how perfect it is for TT, as all you want to affect is the Region Code.
Pc Friendly (bit of an oxymoron really) and Interactual are still a problem, but that is easily fixed with the push of a button.
I am now going through my collection, to set start position.

    Hello Ken,

Nice to see you now have TheaterTek working well.

Could you post the spec of your PC, version of Windows etc ?

Might help others in choosing the parts for a stable HCPC build for use with TheaterTek.

    Mark.

Regarding PC Friendly/Interactual, I just descovered this thread http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=99925
and the tips by Andre & gmanhdtv, work perfectly.
All I have to do now is put a DVD in the drive and relax, do you think I'll get bored having no distrations.

    My Tip.
Do the Tweaki first, then install Interactual, making sure you define TT as the defaut player, then remove and reinstall TT. Don't use the disc detect program because it will still try to load PCfriendly.
