I noticed today the cdwow are selling the x files (region2) for £28.99  with an amaray keep cases- is that one of these cheap dvd cases? like the ones Angel and Buffy have?

    I just bought the X-Files: Complete Season 6 from play.com for £59.99:suicide:

Sounds like the promotional ones that were listed on Amazon for awhile, instead of the standard cardboard foldout sets they are the discs in normal dvd cases.

You might like to know though that you can get The X Files Boxsets from DVDCrave at the moment for £24.76 each (£30.44) but in July they are doing a Sale on them where they are only £17.19 each, now that is a bargain :smashin:

I bet they are the R4 versions. They have been re-released in R4 in amarays at that low price. The discs should be encoded to R2 and R4.

The cheaper amaray packaging of the R2 X Files, Buffy and Angel didn't happen.

What are the cheap £29 Buffy boxsets on play etc packaged like ,if not amaray cases? I would be tempted with them but have 2 sets in the cardboard foldout types.

The £29.99 R2 Buffy sets are the current book packaging. I got S4-S7 from Amazon to finish the collection.

The R1 Buffy's have foldout packaging.

The R2 X Files and Angel sets are still at the normal prices.

I don't know but, I think the Futurama and Simpsons sets were on sale for a couple of months at least.
