    Comes out Monday, according to Play 247, so I've placed an order. Anyone seen a review copy or know anything about the quality of the disc?

    Also found North Sea Hijack on R2, so I ordered that to.

    Yes I have a check disc although I don't have a home cinema to test it with, it looks fine. :smashin:
    The extras remind you how cheesy TV was in the 70s and how awful some of the bird's dresses were at the premier.
    The movie itself stands the test of time pretty well, I think.

    Good old 70's film with good actors , I use to love this film when I was a Kid

    recieved mine today from play. Seems to be a very good transfer with good extras. its released by Warner and Mosiac

    Nice transfer indeed. They just couldn't make them like this these days, even if they tried. I like the MovieTone footage of the charity premiere. I'm sure the PC brigade that had The Spastic Society renamed to Scope, were wincing when they dusted this off the shelf.

    I bet they were. My nephews who love war films think this film is pants. I dunno, some people just have no class.
