To a new TV. :cool:

So, end of September i will be replacing the current SONY 32" CRT to an LCD TV.

Budget roughly £800
Size - Between 32" & 37"
Linked to an XBOX 360
Linked to Acoustic Energy Aego P5II
DVD Player, Toshiba SD-370E
Possible purhcase an XBOX 360 HD player (cheap) unitll there is a clerar HD-DVD/BlueRay winner.

Looking at what i'll link the TV to, any suggestions?
Any new models coming out that are worth holding off for?

Thanks :smashin:

Congratulations on the Engagment, I hope you and your new TV will be forever happy...

I recommend a Sony D3000. They're the accumilation of all the good things going for LCDs at the moment. They do cost a little more, the 32" is within your price range of £800, but the next best I would say is the Samsung R87 or R88 (both same). This is one of the best none-1080p native LCDs out there at the moment. You could pick up the 37" for £600 at the moment and then you've got enough left for the HD-DVD Add-on.

If you can afford it get the Sony D3000, thats what my money would be one at the moment.

if you can fit a 40inch you can pick up a D3000 for less than £800!

Interesting.

32" is the maximum now having looked at my seating position.

Today i have been offered an imaculate, full warrenty, ex-demo Loewe Concept 32" for inside my budget but i never hear anyone mention this brand, its all Sony, Tosh, Philips etc.
:confused::confused:

From what I've read on here in the last couple of weeks, Loewe are the dog's danglies. Don't take my word for it though, as I am merely finding out about this stuff due to our TV packing up last week.
