rofl that thing would have been great when I was in skool. Little hard to hide from the teacher though. Vid was overly long though 3+mins of the thing turning :boring: But when it got to the shooting of the floppy disks I was glad I stuck with it:thumbsup:

    amazing stuff

Last time I saw something like this was the potato launcher....

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=CpAJOPzKK-M

Me and a friend actually made one

Wasn't quite as good as the one in this video, and it made a hell of a lot more noise!

All went well until the end shattered on the second launch. My mate had bits of plastic sticking in his hand and the ignition system was completely cabaged, but it was well worth it.

Never got round to repairing it though, we decided it was too dangerous

£30 worth of PVC piping from B&Q, a BBQ lighter and a squirt of hair spray.
Recipie for destruction for any bored teens

I remember Clarkson making one of those using a spaghetti jar plonked on top of a gas hob when he had his own chat show. He then bigged it up later in the series with a an oven-ready turkey, a pedal bin, and then aimed it at an old TV, which got absolutely totalled!! Brilliant!
