The raunchy RomCom The Ugly Truth arrives on Region free Blu-ray with a lovely 1080p AVC/MPEG-4 transfer framed in the widescreen 2.40:1 aspect ratio. Were served up a crisp, detailed image with nicely rendered colour which takes on a warmish hue in the interiors.
The DTS-HD MA 5.1 surround track provides us with clear and intelligible dialogue throughout as well as some toe tapping music that nudges the subwoofer into action.
The bonus material is made up of a couple of featurettes, deleted scenes and gag reels while we get a selected scene audio commentary from the director and producer.
As a movie, it provides a few laughs for those not of a prudish nature and stars Katherine Heigl and Gerard Butler in a modern day retelling of the Cyrano de Bergerac tale.
