Bought this online last night - I had never heard of it before, but I am a sucker for nice packaging! :D Can't wait for it to be delivered... Will let you all know what it is like when it arrives :smashin:

Ihave this Korean version and it looks the dogs danglies.
The dvds come in a clear double amaray with artwork on the inside, the amarays come in a card slip case which itself comes in a small plate sized tine with lord of the rings embossed on it in black, finally this comes in a cardboard box ala mini piza box with lord of the rings printed on it.very impressive. The sound is more impressive than both the R2 & R1 versions in my opinion.

    I paid £20 :smashin:

It is only the standard release in fancy packaging, but I was thinking of buying it anyway - so the tin is well worth an extra £5 for me ;)

its looks very nice lex - i however shy away from such packaging as it is a bugger to store - rolls off the the book case or even worse ends up just sitting on the top of the other dvds looking out of place.

I've got a box full of add shaped CD's in my spare room for exactly this reason.

    Looks nice though

Well, I watched it once so decided to flog it in readiness for the EE.

Also eBay is a great place to get rid of these editions.

Have a look at the current price! :D

You have to know Ono to understand Ono. :p
