The Trouble with STB

So... all excited about Freeview, I blow the dust off the old Nokia Media Master, tried to remember which butons did what on the worn out remote and plugged it in. Amazing, it still works. Managed to retune and everything.

Problem is this. I've got the STB plugged into the video and the video out to the TV all on co-ax (classy, I know, but it is just the bedroom...) The reception is okay but when I turn the video on, the reception goes to b&w. When I turn it off it goes to colour again.

Any ideas?

Weird

If you're just using coax connections, perhaps it could be due to RF interference? Would need to check if the output frequency of your DTT box is too close to that of the VCR. If so, then change one of them and see if it makes a difference.
