Well, if your a fan of the first movie, which I am, this looks pretty good.
transporter 2 trailer
Plenty of action and violence......just what we like to see!
I really enjoyed Transporter so I will definately be going to see this when it is out in the cinema. It looks very good. Lovelly Audi A8 too. When ever I see Jason Statham I always think of Kelly Brook, even tho they are no longer an item. I think she did the dirty on him. Poor bloke.
I have just ordered this boxset on seeing the trailer for the second movie.
I have the other 2 movies but only on VHS. Looking forward to rewatching the first Transporter again.
It's not that bad, I like John Tavolta in it, Christian Slater is also one of my fav actors.
Plus its a true story
Looks good, I really liked the first one so will definitely see this...
wow that looks great, i loved the first movie, and this one looks like it's taking it to the extreme! I wonder if jason statham will still do all his own fight scenes like he did in the first.
Whatever happened to him? I haven't seen him in anything for ages!
last thing i saw him in was mindhunters, wasn't in it for long though..
I saw this yesterday and enjoyed it. It was very Michael Mann and certian scenes had me laughing rather shocked....lol
Its cheesy but all good fun and if you liked the first Transporter you'll love this. Looks like there is going to be a 3rd Transporter on the books too.
I recently watched the HD version of Transporter complete with DTS sound and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've just downloaded the INHD trailer for Transporter 2 and it looks equally as impressive.
You'll love it Andy, best of all its a true story.
i just spat coffee everywhere you funny git!
I dunno must just be me but I thought it looked poor, first one was a good popcorn flick for a larf but not too sure about this un .......... maybe Im getting too old
I loved the first Transporter movie. It was good fun, so I decided to buy Transporter 2 (unfortunetly, I missed it's theatrical release), but I'm on a bit of a budget at the moment, so I decided to look for a bargain and hit eBay.
I found the DVD, bid for it, and won it. I just got home from work today to find a package waiting for me, and there it was. I thought, cool - quick delivery, decent price. No problems.
But then I looked at the packaging of it, and I started to think, "Have I just bought a copy?"
The edge of the paper looked like it had been cut with a guiloteen, or something. You know how you can tell with a little rough edging? The quality of the pictures on the cover themselves look a little grainy...you know if you look at a digital picture up close, you can see the dots of colour, that sort of thing; and the text on the back looks a little fuzzy. Not to mention that the paper itself was rater course, indicating that it was photo paper that it was printed on...
There was no chapter slip inside, and the face of the DVD itself was rather smooth - I don't know anything about Lightscribe DVD writers (you know, the ones that can print labels directly to the DVD), although on second inspection, the DVD label looks like it was also done on a printer, then stuck on the disc.
And then comes to part which really makes me suspicious:
On the ring of the DVD, it says "DVD-R 8X 4.7GB", and the underside of the DVD is blue, just like a writable DVD.
So, I ask you, just to confirm/disuade what I am suspecting, did I just get sent a duff DVD? To those who own the film on DVD, how does what I just said to you compare to what you own?
That said, I just played the disc, and the quality seems fine, but I'm still not convinced.
I have a feeling some negative feedback will be sent to this guy tonight.
Sounds like a copy made from the original dvd with something like dvd shrink or dvd decripter. The blue under side would suggest that it is a pirate dvd.
Yep, the blue underside would definitely suggest a pirate.
I'd contact the seller for a refund or explanation before posting neg. If he is unco-operative a swift email to ebay may be on the cards. Because if you post neg, he will then post you neg unless he's already posted feedback in which case, nail the
Thats a pirate mate.....
I will never get a DVD from Ebay unless I am absolutely sure they were genuine. The properdisc is 6.08GB but the film itself on its own will fit on a single sided disc without compression.
Thanks for the replies, people! I thought it was a pirate, but I thought it was just better to check with you guys first.
I am sending him an email now. Stern, but polite. If I don't recieve a reply in the next few days, I will report him, and leave negative feedback.
This is odd, because I've bought a few DVD's off eBay before, and have never had a problem before today. Still, it's a good lesson to learn.
Just watched it, yeah I know a but late LOL! But it was good, better than the first one, though some it was fake OTT.
You mean, the part where he removes the bomb from the bottom of his car!
Amber Valletta was also quite appetising
Report him to FAST that will screw the criminal that screwing you and other people on eBay.
everybody seems to think this movie is supposed to have an overexposed adn very yellow tinted picture but it shouldnt so the dvd verison is crap basically in its transfer, but since its so usual with directors using different filters and tint there movies in different colors few think that is something wrong with there dvd.
so I wonder when we will see a correct DVD transfer of this movie!
Watched this last week and is sort of film where you put credibility on hold to enjoy which I did. He seems to be doing stuff even James Bond would not do especially two of them with his car.
Spoiler question If the main villain took the
serum to the plague he unleashed and said he was the only antidote, how come the lad was not also a antidote as he more so was as he had had the plague and had the antibodies.
a bit OTT, but i like it, mostly for the wheels on the audi as i have them on my passat lol
