    Does anyone know much about this ? because DVDstreet are selling it saying its coming out on 19.03.01 on R2 but I have not seen it anywhere else ?

    Does this mean that its coming out on R2 before R1 and will the R2 be cut ?

    Rewind have already done a REG comparison (R1 Vs R2) on it so where did they get it so soon and no R1 place says its coming out.

    Erm this is about Terminator 1 not 2 !!!

    Steve,

    My mate has had T2 - 2 disc set for months on R1. I thought it was called the 'Ultimate collection'. I'll be suprised if they release a third version, especially after releasing 'the ultimate collection'.

    It's pretty good with loads and loads of extras, excellent menus, DTS Ex sound track, 2 versions of the movie etc, etc.

    I nearly made that mistake, the post is about Terminator (1) not T2.

    I think I'll hold out for the R1 version, I reckon it will have a new DTS soundtrack as well! [IMG]

    Apparently it can't be released in the US yet because there are issues to be resolved with the distributor of the old R1 version. Cool.

    I've been waiting for this film for some time. Don't worry, it won't slip by.
    R1 has to be the way to go, I won't even entertain the idea of a R2 disc. Urrgh.

    The news I've seen tells me:

    "Our" version isn't cut and comes out in March. This despite the fact that the certification has been reduced from 18 to 15. (The Govt. guidelines have been relaxed and the BBFC are being more lenient nowadays)

    The Aussies also get theirs in March. If you're in any doubt about censorship, buy it from there (I suggest www.ezydvd.com.au). It'll probably be cheaper anyway.

    The US (R1) version is expected in the Autumn (November from recollection) because the major studio doesn't have distribution rights - they currently belong to Image Entertainment, and their rights expire in the Autumn.

    Amazing how many people have put posts in here about T2, isn't it!

    TERMINATOR 1 SE is on R2 first;

    T2 ULTIMATE EDITION already out on R1.
