    No, nothing to do with the BB rules (for once!)

    I was a bit miffed when got my R2 copy from Play this morning and found the film spread over 2 discs, but its been treated very well with an opening musical piece, an intro by Cecil B DeMille that really puts you in the 'cinema' mood and an old fashioned 'intermission' screen where you change the disc. Still, at 3h40m you'll need to get up to avoid getting a DVT. :)

    The picture is fantastic considering the age of the movie and the colours have never looked richer.

    This is one of my fave oldies and its nice to see Paramount have given it the DVD it deserves.

    If you thought Ten Commandments was a good disc, try Ben Hur. I thought both the picture and especially the sound were far better than TC.
