Real shame I can't invest in this.

Thanks for the info, was looking to pick it up myself at some point had just assumed it would be good. Hope the rest of the Miramax back catalogue don't get tarnished like this. Looks like the other Miramax titles released at the same time as this are equally as bad The English Patient, The Others and The Quiet American.

I picked up Miramax's Emma (thinking "It can't be that bad") and it's truly awful. Maybe the worst Blu-ray I've ever had.

As Miramax has a different owner now we're going to get different transfers around the world so we'll just have to wait for something better. For the moment I'm not upgrading my DVDs to Blu-rays which are really just DVDs.
