    I have purchased:

    Panasonic 42PWD6 Plasma
    Denon 3805 Amp
    B&W VM1 (x5) Speakers
    Rel Quake Sub
Denon 2900 DVD (ordered, not yet arrived)
JS Scart to VGA Converter (for Sky +)
I have some Van Damme cables for the Amp to Plasma component connection

The big question is over cables!

What do I need from the DVD player to the amp? Looking to spend £40

What should I get for the speakers? I need 37 metres not including the sub, so I guess under £3 per metre is the order of the day! Sub is around 5 metres, so similar price would be nice.

What should I terminate with to the speakers and to the sub (say £30 the lot)?

Lots of questions, but I really don't have much of a clue at this point. Any help very much appreciated.

    Hello Ian

Simple - more VanDamme all round should work a treat.

Soldered 4mm banana should do the trick for the speaker cables and the sub will be line level via RCA (unless it has line level XLR).

    Best regards

    Joe
