    I have just spotted that there is a documentary on Nigel Kneale at 9.30 and after it they are showing the 1972 The Stone Tape chiller at 10.10 on BBC4, enjoy.;)

    damm, just read your heads-up, and too late now :-(

    still i can always rent it from our library again - good stuff last time i watched it. Much more thought provoking and a sense of tension/scare than the drivel they make nowadays.

    Did anyone see the documentary before; they showed some clips of his old 50’s stuff wouldn’t mind seeing some of them. They mentioned up to Quatermass on the ITV but wasn’t there a 6 part anthology series he wrote shown on ITV later.

    Repeated on Sunday I think. Well worth a look for those who missed it.

    The dcoumentary was good too.

    Thinking mans sc-fi/horror ;)
