    Hi everyone,
Thinking of getting SKY+, but not sure how "fast" the box is... let me explain. When I first got SKY digital, it was an Amstrad box... and I had MANY problems.... after 5 different boxes etc... I ended up with a Panasonic box, and this works much faster than the Amstrad... when changing channels it instantaneous, when looking at the EPG is fast enough... on the Amstrad you have to wait 5 - 10 seconds for the info to appear.... the question is... is the SKY+ box like a Panasonic, or is it like the Amstrad.

Another question... do they use my existing dish, or do I get a new one?

    Ta

I have a Panasonic and Sony, as well as Skyplus+.
The Skyplus+ is definitely as quick :) .

They will use your existing dish unless it's in bad condition then it will be replaced.
