I'm after a DAB radio, and being the demanding kind of girl I am I want it to have a clock, a radio with snooze, LCD info screen, presets and an input jack for my ipod. I also want it to look nice, and be under £150.
I've spent some tedious hours searching and have not come up with anything. Has anyone seen this holy grail of a DAB radio?

How about this one - the BT Aviator. Looks pretty decent (IMO). It has a line input and presets etc. Not sure about snooze though... ;)

Does anyone have any experience of the DA-1 digital tuner unit that is on sale at Dixons (on the Web for £40). It is very small, not much bigger than its display, and has a remote control. Seems like a good way to update my Hi-fi system.

Mike7, I know someone that fitted a DA-1 into his car, he seemed pleased with it:

SusiQ, there are two DAB radios that meet your needs:

    Pure Evoke-2XT

    Tivoli model DAB

Pure makes great DAB radios and Tivoli is known for very high quality (and expensive) FM radios. I really fancy the Tivoli for my bedroom now. :)

The Hitachi KC 1000D from Curry / Dixons (£99.99) looked like a good option as a DAB Clock Radio with CD Player. Unfortunately, the one purchased yesterday had what could have been mains hum when switched to DAB. The hum wasn't audible on either the FM or CD settings. Took it back to the store today and got a refund as they didn't have any others in stock. Hoping this was an isolated product fault, found another branch that had several in stock, so purchased another one - just got home and set it up and - guess what! - same problem. I have since found other reviews of DAB radios that suggest mains hum can be a problem for models that don't have an external AC/DC converter. Has anyone else had the same problem?

Thanks Ikki, I'll have a look at this unit. I notice that it is £20 cheaper on the Dixons website than in Dixons shop ..seems like a bargain.

Evoke looks Ok but the Tivoli looks like a piece of test equipment. I wouldn't give it house room and I am sure Mrs D wouldn't either

The perfect radio for you would be The Bug, looks great, sounds great, and does everything you want and more, and your girlfirends would be jealous of you when they see this on your desk...I tried one at comet, great sound, nice display, easy to use, and it does not have a cheap feel to it..No Line in for your Ipod i'm afraid though..., but it's the radio you have been searching all those hours for.. :

What's wrong with test equipment

The main point about Tivoli is that the output is about the best that you can get. :smashin: But you pay for the priviledge.
