I was going to buy the Panasonic th-42px70 but I keep hearing plasma horror stories should I be looking at a LE40M87BDX instead?

Is it worth £800 or should I go for the 42 plasma at £723??

Its the M86 model at Currys, not the M87 - though they're both pretty much the same apart from the chrome strip on the m87.

Using yaw808 knocks another 5% off it too, down to £761.16

Then quidco gains you another 3.5% discount. £733.

n.b. quidco is not a voucher code, but a cashback site www.quidco.com

Just looking at that 'Whatever happens' Tosh seems you pay the 8.99 thou gh the first year as well, so effectivally you paying currys to do nothing as the warrently covers the same.

    Now that is just shameful.

    EDIT

I am mistaken you can buy the cover up to 1 year after the purchase!!!!

I said to myself I'd get one when the price dropped below £800 and at £760.16
delivered, I can't complain. Hopefullly it'll be trouble free, Ok, I know it won't.
Delivery is sometime Thursday, missus gets home about 7, gives me a few hours to have a play and then hide it if I take the day off work.

Any tips on how to conceal a 40" TV in a small room? ;)

Cheers for the extra code, I'd seen the sept one (just google le40m87), and
the extra 5% makes it a pretty good deal.

Yes they offer 'Whatever Happens' which you can take up for 8.99 after the first year seems to be a month by month rolling contract.

    Optional monthly product support £8.99

It's not a voucher! It's a cashaback site, that for Currys will give you 3.5% of the cost you pay.

They take the first £5 of any cashback epr year as their fee. They are a great site, especially for home & car insurance policies.
