theres been a few threads regarding the sammies. I have it and think it is excellent. I looked on Digi's website (these guys are direct sales for Samsung) and it has the Faroudja prog scan etc.

I got mine through empire for £1729. It is now hanging on my wall!!

it is new and is a generation 4 display

Nobody has been able to compare the 2 side by side
so far, but it is £500 cheapen than the Panny when
you add the accessories to the Panny to compare like with like.

but say you didnt need the speakers, and already have the a humax PVR8000T as a tuner, would the panny, for the extra £130 more, out do the sammy, or are there neck and neck in future proof, PQ, connectivity, etc

you still need to buy a stand and input boards for the panny.
each input board costs £100 (approx) so to compare the Samsung with the panny add
    scart £100
    scart £100
    composite £100
    stand £100
thats £400 extra with no speakers or tuner

For £1920 the PW6 comes with video board, and I dont need the stand, do you still need more boards than the one it comes with
