Can anyone beat my record for the most TV's returned.

Over the last few months I have returned:

1 Philips (virtical line down screen)
    1 Sony (red smearing)
    2 Panny PD30's (terrible RGB)
1 Philips 30" LCD (light bleeding)
2 JVC P37's (horizotal lines on RGB)

about to return a new JVC D40

Surely this must be a record, John Lewis and Comet are not very happy with me.

    Can anyone beat this !!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

This poor guy's been through twelve (yep...........TWELVE) tv's.

Perhaps we should start a league table for most returned sets Jerkyboy, I reckon you're a good bet for second place. :D

I think Bazza was on his 9th tv - I remember him saying he might keep this one although he has found faults with it.

I've only returned two tv's recently so I don't class myself as being an expert.

Oh, beat this, In April I returned a Scnheider tv back to Asda, It went wrong two weeks before the 3year warrentcy ran out - got a full refund. The manager didn't wanna play so I had to complain to Asda head-office in Leeds. Sorted it out in two minutes. The manager didn't like the fact that I'd had the tv for three years and had two weeks left on the warrentcy. At the end of the day it wouldn't have mattered if I had a day left. He just didn't like it but was forced to give in by the head-office.

Even now if I go to Asda he snubs me - Great Yarmouth if anyone wants to know.

I think my new Loewe is my 10th TV since November. It is not perfect but I simply dont have the will to return it.

I had 8 TV's from Comet and I must say they were absolutely fine with me. I know these big firms have their critics but I had no problems at all with Comet. I did have problems with a specialist firm who claim to have excellent customer service and technical skills.

After returning a TV they tried my DVD player on another and found the same problem they therefore said the DVD player was incompatible with my chosen TV. I did not fully accept their logic as many others here have complained about similar problem with the same TV. Anyway, I asked for the DVD player to be kept at the shop so that I could try it on some other TV's. Next morning my DVD player was returned to my house, on the instructions of the saleman. I visit the shop a few hours later on was told that I really should try buying a TV from another shop. So I did.

Sorry for the rant, if only I had known how difficult it could be to buy a working TV....

10 TV's a record - no but it is outrageous
