    Hi everyone!

    I've joined today

Until recently, I was the proud owner of a Panasonic 32" widescreen Quintrix television - until the tube failed.

Besides the £750 odd quid I paid for it, and the fact that it was just over 3 years old, I'm devastated that I must now go back into the minefield of the marketplace to choose a replacement.

This is where you all come in - I need your help!

    My requirements are simple:

    32" screen
3 scarts - 2 of which must be RGB

    AND

A CRACKING GOOD PICTURE! (I tend to like high contrast settings)

not bothered about sound, I use my hi-fi and Nicam is ok for me

50 or 100 Hz - the debate rages on

Now worried about Panasonic - especially as it had a Phillips tube in it I'm told, Phillips never appealed to me but I'm ready to listen, JVC seem too cheap, and are we still paying for the Sony name (at least they make their own tubes!)

    Tell me what you think.

    Cash waiting!

Hello Gwladok5 and welcome to the Forum. :)

After your unfortunate experience, can I suggest that you consider buying from John Lewis and get their free 5 year guarantee.

Then you'll get complete peace of mind for around 50p a day!

    Worth thinking about?
