Its nice to see the newer members coming through the ranks especially those that live in Hampshire.Having bought the r3 version from Movietyme.com (poor service imho) this region 1 is much better on picture and features and the menu screens are very nice also,I would also recommend future ent as well but on basis that the item is in stock as they charge your credit card straight away.
All the best I am maximus
You dont want to buy that its pants!!!!!!!! only joking

    Amazing!

There are two threads about the Others - both posted at EXACTLY the same time (1205)!!
As I can't delete one for being repetitive, nor merge the threads, I suppose I had better leave them! :D

    Shaun.

Officially retailers are not allowed to deliver items until after the studio imposed waterhshed has passed. However due to mankinds inability to instantaneousely distribute several million copies of the same disk around the world on the same day vendors receive their stock in advance of the watershed.

Partially due to storage constrainsts but mainly to get your custom some vendors ship the disks out again to customers as soon as they have them.

QED. You have your disk before the official relase date (which is the date Play show on their site).

    Regards

Seany boy, I am curious to find out what are some of your best 'current' DVDs/films. It's just that you slated Panic Room and the others

    ?
Can I guess and say you thought Training day and AI was rubbish too ?

I was kidding about the others (sounds like udders-cows tits), It's a great film;) Panic room is not a bad film, but not as good as i thought it would be.

AI was really good, i loved the voice over at the end scenes-very moving.
I really want to see training day. Watched harry potter last night. How kids sat still through 2hr 20 mins of it:confused:

    I do like films you know:rolleyes: :)

Sorry to but in here :D but I've gotta get this of my chest.

AI was/is the most boring film I've ever seen (and believe me, I've seen them all - well a lot anyway). Watched this on a promo real when it was first available, and it's the first film in many years I've ever given up on half way through. Someone please fill me in on what makes this such a great flick

Panic Room on the other hand wasn't half bad. Not up there at the top, but quite enjoyable non the less.

The Others (Region 3) is going for £8.99 on cd-wow.com at the moment..... I think it's DTS only though so that's me screwed (but that can't be right can it?)

(By the way, I *loved* AI as well..... rivetting.... I won't say any more because that'd take me "off thread" ;))

Others - Not seen, although tempted now after all the talk.

AI - Very Ordinary movie. Great premise and beautifully made but a dull movie in retrospect.

Hello, I have seen The Others recently. Not that quite impress with the film. I think it was a bit hyped for my likely.
I reckon it was a bit slow starting with a twist at the end.

I would say it is similar to a film done by Bruce Willis recently. However I am not going to say the name in case it might spoil the surprise.
    H :)
