Have had this for about 2 months now and love it too bits. I do regret not getting the bluetooth prep and idrive but can live without it for now.

Fuel economy is amazing, can get about 650 miles to the tank which is what i need for the moment. In 9 months or so i think i might go for the 330i with all the bells and whistles if im not doing so many miles :D

Sorry about this pics, not the best of days too take them nor am i that good with a camera

May as well stick a few pics of my old cars up - Lost a load of the old ones on a broken hard drive and im sure you dont want to see my Skoda Octavia Taxi ( 2 yrs old 160k miles) or my rathe dodgy diesel Peuegot 106 which i think has a dent on EVERY panel ( brought as a cheap A-B car whilst i save for bigger and better things lol)

Anyway - this is a choice few of the better / interesting cars....

Mitsubishi Delica - raised to the roof and full of gadgets - pic were taken in the Alps which the car was made for - unfortunatly Asda car park doesnt need such a monster so itwas sold - wish id kept it though :suicide:

Alfa GTV - nice car, sexy red leather interior - typicaly Italian and never without a minor niggle !

Alfa 156 Swagon - loads of toys and cracking car - always have been fond of estates

XR3Aiiiiiiiiii - essex finest with a fe bit and bobs added :D
    [IMG]

Ill add a few more of the others if i can track them down

I own one of the these bad boys in saloon form and brilliant as they are, you will not get 40 mpg out of them on anything other than a long motorway run!

She gets 40 odd to the gallon but then she does drive carefully
You got the new LCI gearbox verison as it does more MPG than the older one
On a run she gets about 43

Thanks a lot mate , she loves it :)
The Number plate she bought over here
MJZ stands for our first names and our little boys first name (Melody John Zac)
It was a cheap plate but does the job
I drive a Nissan Navara Pickup, One of our business sells quad bikes jet skis etc so its perfect for that , although i am going to change it soon , not sure what to get.

She would have to drive it very carefully! Snap quick shot of the average MPG next time you get a chance as I find it very hard to believe she is getting 40 average.

I bet you can, I had a pre facelift one for 12 months and 40k miles, and that returned 25.9mpg, these new LCI models with the alu block engine and new gear box are far better, doing the same sort of driving I can get 35mpg pretty easily hooning round, now my wife used to get around 31mpg from the 535d when she had it, so I bet she would be getting 39/40mpg with the new one pretty easily.

It is a MK6 yes, went for DSG as I do a lot of city driving so makes things easier also this new DSG is more economic and has lower CO2 than the manual version.

GT Spec model so currenty top bar the GTI but I have added quite a few extras.
