a Busy month ahead for me again so another early entry.

Something a bit different.I found this field and these "round things" Friday night and it was pitch dark.so Armed with my 1,000000 candle power torch I set up this 170sec exposure...running around the field painting the Bale and surroundings with light..I really pleased with the result, hope you like it too.

Great job. I tried to do this for last months entry - a single bail of square hay in amongst a field of round ones. However, I couldn't quite get the effect I wanted with a flash and was going to buy a powerful torch but never got round to it.

I was going to do it for this month but alas! I'm to slow!!

Nice photo though  it doesn't even look like night!

Thats a great show and it would have been fun watching you taking the shot. :)

Check out in your local press for reports of a "madman" running around in a field with a torch. ;)

I've tried the "painting with torch light" myself, and have never managed to get anything anywhere near this good.

Perhaps I need to get myself a bigger torch!

I like this alot. Great take on the theme and I really like the composure.

I initially bought a 2,000000 candle power torch but it was way to mch for painting with light...this one is border line too....better if you are further away.Although targeting subjects can be tricky:)

    thanks for the comments

Dean thanks for dropping in, come back more often like... ermmm.. on voting day;)
