I was out shopping in Newcastle city centre the other day intent on buying a couple of new games, I wanted Pirates and Evil Genius and I typically get all of my games from "the next level" on Pilgrim St (near the old Odeon) but they were
closed. I had to go and buy them from Game instead which I don't like as the guys in TNL were always really helpful and I would always prefer to help a smaller local retailer as opposed to a big faceless company

I've tried phoning and emailing and the phone rings out and the emails return undeliverable - does anyone in Newcastle or the North East know more than me?

    Ta,

    Tex

Looks like their gone. I always felt intimidated when i went inside because they would jump on you when you went in, asking if they could help you. A bit like slaters, also the prices were often more expensive than other shops in my experice and the crap location didn't help. The retro gaming section was good but thats the only part of the shop i liked.
Compared to granger games they were bound to shut down soon. If you can bare to go into granger market the are the cheapest game shop i've seen and often more than competative with online retailers.

    Broona,

Nice place Corbridge, we often go up there for a meal and a nice day out - I hope you didn't get affected by the flooding

We're on the North side of the river, fortunately for us it was only the South side that was affected, down towards the railway station. Cheers for your concern though. :smashin:
