I'd be thinking about a row of trees to give more privacy. Although I might politely suggest to the neighbour that they should be putting them on their side seeing as they've created the problem.

Failing that I'd be looking at raising the height of the fence, if planning permission will allow.

I have a similar privacy issue with a new neighbour.

The previous owner of next door had an upper tier to their garden that would have overlooked my garden and kitchen, but never used it and had a load of trees there.

New neighbour has chopped the trees down and now using the upper tier as a patio area.

I've discussed a higher fence with the new neighbour and they seem ok with the idea.

Current fence is 6 feet. Max without planning permission is 6'6". Not sure yet if that will be enough.
