The more I think about it......

The Snake

The more I think I could just squeeze a 50" screen in:).

I'm thinking of going from a 37" Panny PX80 to the Pioneer 50" 8G 5080XD.

Distance 9 feet.

I really like the Panny and will move it upstairs.

1. Will I notice much of a difference:rotfl:.
2. Will the Pioneer 8G be more 'blacker'.
3. Will the Pioneer do good SD at 9 feet.
4. Am I too close for 50" at 9 feet, the 37" Panny has really nice SD.
5. The Pioneer doesn't have a remote but I have a harmony, will it be a problem?.
6. Should I go the 9G, its double price, the Panny PX80 blacks are quite good, if the 8G does better i'll be happy.

Someone stear me away from this 50" monster:rotfl:.

bite the bullet and the monster, Pio 5080 will not dissapoint on ALL counts, Panny is good but Pio is better, remember they're not made anymore so hesitate and maybe repent at leisure:rolleyes:
