Here's mine - the German version - Marklin - as we lived in Germany in the late 50's.

Loved it, made all the models in the book - trains, trams, ships, cranes.

It's still here in the study with me - with my Hornby Dublo :rotfl:

Sorry IG, no engineering skill needed for Sticklebricks - just brute force.

Suited my lad perfectly

And as for cereals - I'm thinking of posting You-Tube videos showing how to open packs of Weetabix without covering the entire bleedin' kitchen with crumbs - never been the same since they brought in the plasticised paper packets. Didn't we used to have a lady member on here who worked at the factory? Wouldn't mind seeing her tips ;)

Before my wife's great uncle passed away be gave me load of vintage toys to sell for him. Mostly bashed up old cars that for anything from £1-100 each, and then a wooden tiered box full of meccano. Can't remember what I got for it now (a few hundred) and this old chap drove a couple of hundred miles to collect it. He was so pleased with it he gave me a tip of about £30 on top!

Meccano robbery right there

Gave this box of Octons to a neighbour earlier, but can't find a thread to post about it in?
