    the matrix
    the matrix deluxe
    the matrix gold edition
    the matrix revisited twin pack

all of the above are available at play.com

would anyone be able to advise which of the box sets would have the best version of matrix on. I know early on some discs had problems with some players etc, or is that not an issue anymore. Also even if they all have an identical copy of matrix which pack should i go for.

Does anyone think when reloaded is released they will bring out another box version of 'the matrix' and then another one for revelations or whatever they will be called.

I think the region two Matrix is edited/censored.

I am almost certain there will be a boxset of all three films sometime in 04/05

    Tony.

Get a R1 copy of The Matrix. R2 has had the head butting scene's cut so that the studio's could get a lower rating for more sales. :nono:

At first I was offended by this comment Mr Colon, but then i noticed the subtle play on words.

Oh you are a master of the English language indeed, very good :)

the UKR2 is cut all other R2s are OK. the R4 is uncut and has the extras of the R1. R2 miss out on commentary.
I would wait for the ultimate DVD in R1. The now cancelled SE
    because:

More on The Matrix - 12:51pm

Yet more has come in on the now-canceled, near-legendary Matrix two-disc special edition that was originally supposed to be released this May by Warner Home Video. Speaking to Video Store Magazine (read article) it was producer Joel Silver who convinced Warner to squash the 2-disc deluxe set because it contained too many plot spoilers for The Matrix Reloaded, and that he also hoped to do a better transfer for the film on a future release.

Given that this two-disc set was just a rehash of the previously-released Matrix and Matrix Revisited sets, hopefully the new-new version - whenever it arrives - will really be worth the wait. As always, stay tuned...

Yes it is a bit of a freakin' gnuisance when the film company extracts the urine, ripping off the punters with all of these different Special Editions etc.

Matrix is a great flick though. Love that Carrie-Anne Moss - a real gnubile babe who also has a bit of gnudle.

    Is that enough?

    :boring:
