Any fans of this old classic, who bought the R1 release and were none too impressed with the transfer, may be interested in the R2 release i received today.Awesome transfer, from Columbia,a few dust specks, but gloriously colourful, detailed and clean.Anamorphic widescreen,2:35:1 and it will be a treat to watch the film as it was made for the first time.

I'm expecting mine to arrive any second.
No sign of the featurette? Shame if there isn't, but then a decent clean transfer will more than make up for it.

There is no featurette;extras consist of trailers for 'Bridge on the River Kwai'/'Lagaan'/'Robin and Marion'.I was just happy for the transfer quality;hopefully 'Zulu' will be as good next week !.
