Anyone see this interesting documentary (Sat) with Alan Yentob, about Sin City, Las Vegas - the creation, culture, wise guys, segregation, icons of music & atomic bombs.

Film director Mike Figgis says Las Vegas is "like the toilet of the United States - just with great lighting".

Repeated later today 1am BBC2,

or BBC iPlayer - The Lure of Las Vegas

Aye, the evening about Las Vegas started with Brucie going back there with his missus', which I thought would be dull. Surprised me with what a decent chap he is, the memories of Sammy Davis Jr and the interview with Davis's daughter were great.

Oh, and 77 atomic bombs were detonated in one year in the desert before Vegas became a boom town.

Pun intended.:D

Seen the Brucie one before.

Bruce "my good friend Sammy Davis Jr." Forsyth..... ;)

Will definately catch the Yentob documentary though - will fire up the PS3 later - thanks for that.
