Guys, It seems that "the link" for CDWOW doesn't work anymore. Has anyone else seen this???? Probably a good thing as I have spent a fortune with it!

Just be careful though if you are paying by Credit card which I guess you uts be, depends on what charges your CC company sticks on for foreign transactions. Some are free, others can be as high as 5% or £2

Got "the link" working again. Don't know what hapened there.

I used to buy for the Irish CDWOW site, until I discovered that the UK site is always 2euro cheaper and will deliver to Ireland anyway. Making the payment in euro at the checkout means I am not paying anything for changing sterling to euro when my CC is charged, this makes it cheaper still (I ordered from play.com recently and the stg£ to Euro rate was 1.5 on my CC, on CDWOW its 1.4 because I pay directly in euro). :D

I feel like I could write a thesis on this kind of stuff :lesson:

Are people using a different £1.50 link to the one i'm using?

I just made two purchases, both of which got refunded because I used another money off voucher at the same time.

Is this a recent change or is everyone else using a link that allows the use of vouchers too?

maybe they are doing this as it will cancel your vouchers? or they are wise to the people using both methods

I don't want to tempt fate,:suicide: but in the last 2/3 weeks I have ordered Kill Bill UNCUT, Infernal Affairs, Bubba Ho-Tep, Saving Private Ryan DTS & Hellboy. All using the link/voucher combo & not one order was cancelled by CD-WOW.

I ended up cancelling Kill Bill, Infernal Affairs & Bubba Ho-Tep & CD-WOW refunded my money back straight away & gave me back my 3 £1.50 evouchers.

I read on another post that many people who have their orders cancelled have only just started using CD-WOW! Is this true of the people who have had orders refunded?

I started using CD-Wow last November and have purchsed 2 DVD's and 4 CD's in total. I have only recently discovered 'the link'.

I'm not too bothered though, because I will use the link for DVD's and my £1 vouchers for CD's and then pay with dollars. It's still a good saving.

Nope, just have a problem with sad nob-heads who think that by pushing the rules they are impressing everyone with their rebellious nature.
