I will be linking any news on it and hope you do too. I plan to buy one as my next Oled TV how about you? I currently own the LG 65e6v Oled TV and see it as the next step. Cheers.

I can’t see much content at the moment on it only something from a familiar forum site, which I don’t think I can link too, can you guys see anything on it? It was at CES 2019 LG stand and said it would be released in quarter 4 this year. The above link has seem to work - thanks guys, you get a real look at the 65inch Z 8k Oled TV - can’t wait!

I am thinking about £8000 for this at launch, give it a year maybe pick it up for £5000 as it’s only the 65-inch 8k Oled, would need a table top stand on it to go on my av stand as I can’t wall mount. 2.1 HDMI as well I think, be good if they were to release it with 2 full 8k hdmi 2.1 inputs that would definitely be a concluding part to my purchase.

That's awesome! I would love that TV but, funds not likely to ever allow me to have that, but what a tele!

Reckon it will be more that £8,000 and much less of a price drop to, all 8k sets will be in short supply so LG can still charge a premium without the usual price drops the 4k sets get.

You can get the Samsung 65” 8k Q900 for £4800,
it needs to compete with that so surely it’ll be £5k on release or there abouts.
I thought there was a new 8K QLED, the q950r? Prices will go back up I’d expect.

Confirmed that the 8K offerings from LG are only 88 OLED and 75 Nano Cell, no 65 at all.

Thanks - that’s disappointing.
Agreed...

The attitude I detected when I was at LG HQ the other was that of a) 8k isn’t important and b) 8k doesn’t make sense below 75 inch

Still, time will tell - I have a horrible feeling LG will price themselves out of the market with the 88 Z9.
